In This post we will discuss how to install oracle database software for 19c Database Rac setup
Step 1: Login to Oracle user move to database home directory and run the sh script ./runinstaller.sh
Step 2 : Select option 2 setup software only
Step 3 : Select 2nd option for RAC setup (Oracle Real Application Cluster Database Installation)
Step 4 : Configure ssh connectivity for Oracle user
Step 5 : select enterprise edition option .
Step 6 : Provide the Oracle Base location and click next
Step 7 : All groups will be taken automatically no manual intervention needed in this step , click next
Step 8 : We Will run the root script so no need to fill any thing leave it blank & click next
Step 9 : Summary page for software installation .click on install
Step 10 : Run Root.sh on both nodes as root user
Step 11 : Software installation completes here .
